Our club was picked to be one of 60 clubs WORLD WIDE to pilot Les Mill’s new dance program SH’BAM! After our 6 week pilot we wanted more! Les Mills Rachel Cohen choreographed a second release that is amazing! We launched the new music last week so members are just starting to see it.

Each 45-minute SH’BAM™ class is vibrant, unique and varied – and like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new SH’BAM™ release is produced every three months with new music and choreography.

CAN I DO IT?
You most certainly can! Dance-inspired workouts don’t get any simpler than SH’BAM™. Your instructor will introduce you to the basic choreography and coach you through each of the simple steps – and it’s up to you to add in as much sass and style as you like. SH’BAM™ is for people of all fitness levels, and we promise you’ll get fitter doing this class regularly.
WHAT IS THE CLASS LIKE?
Combining sassy strutting, shaking and shuffling, SH’BAM #2 is 45 minutes of fun and frivolity – and a pretty intense full body workout too.
After getting your ‘shimmy’ on in the warmup, Dizzee Rascal’s Dirtee Disco starts playing and the workout kicks off with disco twenty ten style. Here’s where you ask yourself, ‘How would John Travolta do it?’ Then move your feet, add in the disco roll and let your hips do what they like. Dropping the disco, you pick up the Charleston Combo before bouncing your chest and working your derriere to the Latin tunes of Played-A-Live.
The pop-hit Bad Romance provides the perfect opportunity to throw a tantrum and go a little gaga. So sink low, work your hips and strut. But remember, it’s actually what you do with your face that matters. And the drama doesn’t stop there. Set to the 1980’s diva classic I Wanna Dance With Somebody, the second cardio peak is where you get to show off your star-like qualities.
You can embrace your Latino flair during Ricky Martin’s Pégate, then 3OH!3 and Ke$ha up the intensity and set the scene for some serious booty shaking with My First Kiss. To close you get to let it all loose to I Gotta Feeling before realising The Sky’s The Limit with Jason Derulo.
